For years, I had a vision of creating a centralized training platform for all staff and volunteers at FCA. My dream became a reality in 2020 when I spearheaded a team to transition FCA to a new LMS built on WordPress. The LMS was designed to cater to our diverse training needs, support our organizational growth, and provide engaging online training resources. I took charge of the project, overseeing the UI and UX of the LMS, and migrating all existing content to the new system. Today, FCAU has grown from 2K to over 20K users, with hundreds of staff and volunteers accessing the platform daily to complete their training.

As a video producer, I oversee video projects from start to finish. I collaborate with teams and contractors to create top-notch video content for various training programs. I provide creative direction, manage communication and onsite logistics, develop scripts, and work closely with talent to guarantee the project's success. My passion for spiritual formation led me to help my local church launch a new community group initiative focused on practicing the ways of Jesus and living life in community. This involved creating a process for getting new and existing members involved in community groups, facilitating training for group leaders, developing weekly materials and resources, and providing ongoing vision, support, and training for members. I also partnered with my pastor to create a podcast called "Practicing the Presence" to serve as a spiritual resource for our congregation during the pandemic. Our hope was to facilitate moments of calm and peace during a time of uncertainty.

In my online training work, I oversee the course production process from concept to implementation. I collaborate closely with internal departments to identify training needs, create measurable learning objectives, develop storyboards, organize resources and materials, and determine what content needs to be created. I then oversee the creative design process and course buildout. This often involves copywriting, graphic and layout design, and videography. Once the course is created, I manage user enrollment, collect feedback, and ensure the course objectives are being met. Working for a nonprofit, I often need to learn new skills to fill gaps in our organization. In 2018, I taught myself how to shoot video using a Blackmagic Pocket Cinema 4k camera, as well as how to edit using Adobe Premiere and Davinci Resolve. I assembled a portable video studio that I could easily set up at events to capture high-quality content for future course material and other FCA initiatives. Using the studio in different settings helped me learn the basics of audio recording and lighting. That year, I had the honor of working on The FOUR, a series of videos that explained the gospel for FCA staff to use worldwide.
